Can I receive Financial Aid when I'm taking Continuous Enrollment?

Modified on Wed, 24 May, 2023 at 12:30 PM

Financial Aid at Southeastern is only available to students who are taking courses that count toward their degree. In general, Continuous Enrollment courses are not a part of a student's degree, and therefore do not count towards a student's enrollment.

In some cases, students may be registered for Continuous Enrollment as a part of their dissertation writing, in which case an exception may be granted to allow the Continuous Enrollment course to count towards a student's enrollment and financial aid eligibility.

If you are in this second category and want to make sure you remain eligible for your scholarship, please contact our office by emailing us at financialaid@sebts.edu or visiting our Bookings page to schedule a meeting with one of our office members.
